Big Horse Ranch is located near St. Augustine, Florida. We offer riding and driving lessons, trail rides, beach rides, boarding. We usually have horses that are available for sale.
Boarding:
Big Horse Ranch is a full service boarding facility that will take care of your horse the same way we take care of our own.
Pasture Boarding includes grass to graze on and plenty of room to roam. Round bales of hay are provided in the winter. Grain is the owner’s responsibility. $250 per month.
Full Boarding includes a beautiful pasture to roam and graze in plus grain two times daily. Use of all facilities including the arena, air conditioned tack room and wash racks. $350 per month.
Full Boarding with Private Stall includes everything listed above plus a 12’ x 14’ stall for daily or nightly turnout. Shavings are not included. $450 per month.
Overnight Boarding is available for $20 per night. A 12’ x 14’ stall is provided; feeding is the owner’s responsibility. A $5.00 stall clean charge may apply.
Additional services available include a 24 hour on-call vet and a farrier that visits on a weekly basis. Call for rates.
All boarded horses must have current coggins and vaccinations. Worming must be provided by the owner every six weeks.
Lessons:
Whether beginner to advanced, English or Western, show or pleasure, young or old, Big Horse Ranch offers riding lessons in a friendly, safe and enjoyable training environment. Lessons are offered year round.
Driving Lessons:
Learn to Harness and Drive at Big Horse Ranch
Private instruction is offered for beginner and advanced drivers, single or team. You will learn all aspects to help you become a confident, competent and safe driver.
Trail and Beach Rides:
Enjoy a relaxing ride for an hour or spend the day. As you roam the trails, keep your eyes open for the local wildlife. You may just spot a deer, turkey or even a fox! Or if you are interested in the surf and sand, join us for a sunset ride on the beach. There you just may see the dolphins surfing in the waves!
