We are a 50 acre horse farm and boarding facility located in Middleboro, MA. Jim and Angela Balmes run this business together each giving their own separate passions to make this business something terrific. Angie offers : instruction, showing, sales, boarding ,showing experience,(all facets of horsemanship). Jim is knowledgeable in business and includes mechanics, carpentry and barn construction. The husband/wife team have built the stable from the ground up.

That is also their premise in breeding top quality horses that have the "goods" to back up as performers. Whether in the show pen or on the trails, their horses have it all. So with tried and true foundation breeding crossed with today's top performance bred bloodlines, Balmy Acres horses are known for their beauty, outstanding conformation and balance, good minds and fluid gaits.

 As a boarding facility, Balmy Acres offers top-notch care and comfort for your horse with full board services. Our barn has 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 stalls with "interlock" mats and generous pine shavings, run-out individual paddocks with wooden board and electric fencing for each horses own protection, fresh clean water and access to salt and mineral licks.

We offer quality, dust free Canadian Timothy hay 3 times daily, a full line of Purina feeds, heated tack room with individual tack lockers, training round pen, oversized show ring and show facility, miles of trails and open fields, and driving paths.
